Jeanne Yacoubou, MS Archive

I've been an environmental writer covering climate, agriculture, and renewable energy for over 15 years. With a master's degree in chemistry, I'm passionate about non-toxic living, going to great lengths to keep the air and water as pure as possible for my family. My work has appeared in Reader's Digest and Green Building & Design among other publications. In a former life, I served for three years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin, West Africa, teaching high school science in French. I later homeschooled my three children (also in French) for 12 years. When I'm not reading the latest journal articles or scientific reports on air or water quality, I'm tending to my family's organic garden or creating a no-mow lawn with native plants.
